Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Need I say more?

Went and toured the Wild Turkey and the Buffalo Trace distilleries.

First time actually touring distilleries in Kentucky. I felt as though I was lacking in proper education about my heritage of being a Kentuckian, but going to these distilleries and doing nothing but Bourbon related activities all day sure helped in getting me learned.

Michigania comes to Kentucky.

Having out of town friends come and visit is like a mini-vacation. Lots of cooking and embarrassing stories being shared. Truly camaraderie at its finest.

Yes,I suppose there are more advantageous things for me to be doing with my time, but after all, you only live once.

Went on a recent adventure to visit a very close and comically endearing friend in the jungle that is Atlanta, Georgia.

The one thing I truly envy about Atlanta is this, I have never come home after a visit without a grin on my face and laughing. Maybe its visiting close friends or just the fun and excitement from being away from home. There always seems to be something memorable to take back with you.

This was also my first time shooting the aquatic wildlife in a aquarium setting. It was rather fun messing with different camera settings and experimenting.

Quite the trip. Here are a few moments of my escapades.

….and it seems like every other day is skits or water carnival.

I decided to head up to Michigan over break and see some dear friends, here is a mix of my New Years Eve and other evenings filled with mischief and intrigue.

I have also developed a new found admiration for shooting portraits. Never really entertained me before, yet recently I have found them to be more interesting and unique.

I have recently reimmersed myself with adobe photoshop and took some photos I made over break and toyed with the colors and added effects which I thought made the picture more aesthetically pleasing.

I am a pursuing photojournalism through and through, but every now and then I just like to twist things up.
